I recall going Into Uni to work on the scene with Starbeard the Space pirate. I also recall staying on till 5pm :O


Tuesday the 24th of January 2012
Had a bit of a telling off by Judd today about my three minute film and the TV Safe thing (F*cking TV Safe Look I know "professionals" use It but Im not professional at all Im just a penniless student!) stayed on till 3 and then off to chase the Buses one of the roads was closed you see :(


Wednesday the 25th of January 2012
Asides form staying in Uni and working on Shots 5 and 6 I also payed a visit the Futures to talk to some one about what I should do when after University. And to tell the Truth Id quite like to get Into something quite Static like Illustration and Comics :3 Ok I know Its not exactly "animation" but over the past few months Ive been thinking Is Animation really for me :/


Thursday the 26th of January 2012 
Hardly anyone turned up to class today so I ended up going home early Jud didn't seem to mind I mean I would have stayed but the Atmosphere in the Class was soooo Bleak! I ended up going to the Deepdale retail park with Mum. I needed a new sketch book as I accidently spilt Coffee on the other one :(


Friday the 27th of January 2012
Took a break from my 3 minute Film and worked on me Tom-Man Comics Cause everyone loves Tom-Man (everyone loves Tom-Man! THATS A GREAT IDEA!)

I went out at night as well with some friends It was another Interesting night out where everyone was back home for 12:00 and Rahil was getting anxious because a vicious Biker gang the "Satans Slayers" had taken over the Mad ferret :I also there was a Band playing called Catfish and the Bottle men there were alright!

Saturday the 28th of January 2012

Worked a bit more on Scene 6 and then went for a walk to get the Cobwebs out me system (If that makes sense!?) I also watched "Drive" this film me bro and Film Critics keeps barking on about. which they claim is the coolest Movie of the year (2011 to be exact) and I agree with them :) Dont believe me heres the trailer.

Asides from updating this Blog I started looking at those websites Rona (the Futures person whos looking for a Job for me Eeeeee :D ) sent me. Ill leave you now it a rather gory animated music video "Dora no More" check it out.

Monday the 16th of January 2012

Went into Uni today to work on what was It now Shot 3 Scene 2 I think I cant really remember what I did today :/ I know I did stay on till 5 o'clock though!

Tuesday the 17th of January 2012

Work on scene 7 shot 27 :O Thats jumping the gun abit heres a little snippet. Jud was pleased with what I did and So was I actually!

Wednesday the 18th of January 2012

From what I remember I stayed on Till about 5 again and worked on scenes 1 shot 1 and Scene 2 shot 2 the progress of Scene 2 carried on till Thursday.

Thursday the 19th of January 2012

Showed Mario Some shots that I worked on (Shot 1 and 3) Said I needed to tweak them a bit so I did that I also told him that I aim to get 3 shots done each week!. When I got home however I worked on this.....

 Yeah thats right Its re-occurring character "Tom-Man" and friends. I showed this my friends and they thought It was very good :)  

Friday the 20th of January 2012

Took a break from my 3 minute film today to work on my never ending Tom-Man comic I know It Isn't really related to University work But Its what I want to concentrate on when I leave (Think I mentioned that in a previous blog).

I also went out for the first time in 3 bloody months! with My friends Dan, Melly and Rahilly (Mellys pet name to Rahil just roll with It OK) We went to Adelphi and a few drinks except for Dan and Rahil because they went out the previous night and they both had a Headache however this event was cut a bit short as Melly was going to Nottingham this weekend so we ended up taking Melly to the train station for 10 past 9 and going home for Half past 9 what a crappy night If this what being an adult Is staying up till half past 9 then I want out but on a good note It was good to see my friends again.

I was going to carry on with Shot 2 which I did but then Me and my Dad oh and Mum went to Capitol centre (Here is a picture of Capitol centre) 

Because I was in need of a new portable Hard drive the one I have at that moment was abit crap mainly because It was password protected which Is good but not when I have to keep on putting the password In after going for a Bit of a walk. So now I have a Seagate portable Hard drive which is alright actually problem is Its made of that Piano Black plastic which is constantly getting dusty but I shouldn't really worry about It.

Asides from updating this Blog Im going to try and sort out the Kinks with my first shot and shot 2. Im also Intent on going In to Uni tomorrow like I say this 3 minute Film isn't going to do Itself!

After three weeks of no actual updates to my Blog I decided today I should get back in the groove and start updating my blog again If that makes sense nothing I seem to say does.....Oh and by the way I had a great Christmas and New year was alright too.

Asides from starting scene 6 shot 23 Mario, Jud and I think Sarah welcomed the class back to Uni. Jud gave out a Informal welcome back speech of what to expect this year should be Fun.....


Wednesday the 11th of January 2012 
Went In to Uni to look for the sounds that I used for my Animatic so That I could start lip syncing the first scene I then returned home and started to work on that exact scene....


Thursday the 12th of January 2012
The weeks sure go quick at Uni dont they.... Carried on with Scene 1 shot 1and started work on Scene 7 shot 27 I think.....All was going well Until Jud introduced me to Mr TV Safe.

TV Safe confuses me Ok I know I have to work within the Black parts and I can work outside the red Line I think :/ but what about when It comes top rendering how about a bit of explanation on that my Man. In the evening I returned home and coloured In this Pic of Tom-Man on Photoshop...

Friday the 13th (Eeek!) of January 2012

I decided to take a break from animating today and decided to colour In a page for my never ending Tom-Man Comic :D heres the page for you to have a look at....I actually would like to get Into the Comic Industry when I leave university. 

Ok I know It isn't exactly animation! But Ive been drawing Comics since the late Nineties, Early Noughties (the name of the last decade) and I have a distinct comic style and Its what Im good at. So It makes sense that I should  give the Comic Industry a go! And If there are any Tutors or fellow animators who don't think this is a good Idea well If you think about It Comics are kinda like Storyboards but less complex I think....

Saturday the 14th of January 2012

My dad usually goes to work on the Saturday during January and I was going to start work on scene 2 shot 2. But today Dad didn't need to go to work so we as a family decided to go out to Clitheroe which is Nice I like Clitheroe :) Its a very whimsical town. But on the way home I had an attack of depression I don't like being depressed It makes everyone around me Upset :( maybe I have some kind of super power and I just dont realise It yet. Anyway The Depression came from the confusion of the TV Safe thing so I sent Mario an Email to see If he can help so Come Monday hopefully everything will be Ok.

Sunday the 15th of January 2012              

Updated this Blog I might carry on working on Scene 2 shot 2 as well but Id quite like to start working on a Schedule and some Posters to try and get hold of some voice actors.
Ill leave you all now with some Videos first up is a Brian Eno tune which I seem to listen to alot Its called "In Dark Trees" and makes me feel like Im running through a dark forest neat!

Final video is a little something from my child hood. Its the Lego Time cruisers advert with a rather creepy Tim the Time traveller. Oh also I have the Boat with wings which appears in this advert so In a way this advert has been one big nostalgia fudge cake Mmmm Cake!
