Worked on me Story Boards, Think I showed them Judd and was very Impressed by them so was Mario. In fact Mario wanted me to work on them and have the storyboards completed by this Tuesday coming up I think I can do that!

From what I remember I did some environments for me Futures project heres the Meta-Mushroom.

Just so you know I worked on me Story Boards as well! Oh yeah and I watched "Real Steel" with Hugh Jackman in It wasn't that bad come to think of it.

Sunday the 30th of October

Really I just got on with my Storyboards and that was about It really. Ill leave you now with two Videos the first being this rather haunting tune from Brain Eno called "Lizard Point".

The Second Video is of a Stop-frame animation created by Lee Hardcastle and that is "Postman Pat in the Pet Semtary" its bloody brutal not to be watched when you have little Kiddiewinks in the room or at work for that Matter!

   

The WORLD of Mostro-mondo.....

A few weeks/Months back I did this drawing its of the world of Mostro-Mondo, the place my series Monsterology is set.

Its a very Detailed piece uhh And its only till recently Ive coloured this Pic in (Below!)

I actually prefer this Pic in colour thinking about things start to stick out if you know what I mean Im currently working on a labelled version Ill put it up some other time.

Im now at the half way point of this semiester :0 Where did it all go maybe if I come into Uni more the week will get shorter hmm Lets see what I got up to This week though!


Monday the 17th of October
From What I remember I worked on me Script break down and I did THIS!!! 

 SPLOADY HEAD!!! Yes! I think I might throw this into my Future Project book!

Returned to Uni and Did uhh Crap what did I do I cant remember shit! Wednesday what did I do then


Wednesday the 19th of October
I dedicated today for working on the Timing for my 3 minute film for Some reason I had 103 seconds floating around my head for a week where as you think of It there's 60 seconds in a Minute so its makes sense that there is that 3 minutes is 180 seconds.


Thursday the 20th of October
Did some more Timing and mainly Maths for my me 3 minute film Lame! you know when I applied for this Course I thought I left the Maths Shiz behind at High-school sigh! Oh also as I had a Dream about Tom-Man the Previous night I decided to Draw him and his Friends here they are...

Friday the 21st of October
I decided to get down and Do some Story Boarding I knocked out about 2 pages today!


Saturday the 22nd of October
Carried on with the the Story boards and then Later one I went out on The tiles to uh see my friend Holly from Stafford university shes in her Final year aswell. And was her birthday on Friday. So we went down to the Banging techno club "the Mill" which Ive never been to before so It was Quite a new experience. 


Sunday the 23rd of October 
Made some Character Sheets for my Futures project I Just need to colour them in But first Ive Got to renew my passport this Should be fun. Before I go and Do that Ill leave you with two videos this one...

Tuesday the 11th of October 2011
Today I concentrated on shortening down my script although my tutors were more concerned about my Timing so I had to work on that. Asides from that I was running low on paper and Fine liner pens so I popped into town and bought just that and This.

That yellow monster on the Front of the book looks suspiciously like Boo from Monsters Inc anyways what happened on Wednesday.

Wednesday the 12th of October 2011

Today I Concentrated on the timing of each sentence in the Script to show Jud and Mario the next day Over all each sentence adds up to 99.48 seconds the total number  of seconds for 3 minutes is 108 seconds.

Thursday the 13th of October 2011

After showing the Tutors the Timing of each sentence for the 3 minute film Jud wanted me to start a script break down which im still working on In the afternoon I got distracted by Animes. Also at lunch I had a conversation with the other animation students about the Up coming apocalypse in 2012 my guess it wont happen I remember back in the turn of the Millennium every computer in the world would turn on us and did that Happen!? well if it did I wouldn't be here writing these exact words!.

Turned out nice today! I met up with some friends and watched "Johnny English Reborn" some people dont like the sounds of It and some critics even said It would be terrible but really I kind of liked it Yes I was mainly aimed at Kids but you know I got a couple of laughs from It so thats good at the end of the day!

Just updated my Blog I intend to get the Script break down done for today and Im ment to be going out somewhere for Lunch today nom nom nom :3

The shorts called Deprive and It has EVERYTHING! a Girl in danger, a Love story, Robots, Crystal castles a Gay Clown freak of a Villain with a Laser eye, explosions, action and Cheesy 80s rock!

    

The second video is going to be uhh a Song I seem to be listening to alot for some reason and that Song is "Beak!" from the Nintendo 64 game "Bomberman Hero!".

Monsterous merchandise from my Childhood

Some of you may not no this but I was an Odd child looking back at old photos I often think that kind of looked like an evil foetus! (that is how you spell foetus right?!)

Anyways thats not the point Im trying to get across here. Asides from looking like a evil foetus and liking trains I also liked to draw monsters which is nothing new Im always drawing monsters! and whilst thinking about Merchandise for my Futures project I remembered about these guys!

And just who are these "guys" your all asking inside my head well From what I remember these were some monster Pencil toppers came free with every box of Sugar puff cereals and were released back in the 90s Heres one of the monsters attached to a HB pencil. 

  

Yeah Nice Unfortunately there is no mere mention of these guys on the Internet except on the Website "E-bid" where you can buy one if you want you don't have to I mean im not forcing you to do so I means Its your Money after all!.

Ok Im now gonna talk about these guys individually first up is this Pink dude who I cant really put my finger on what he is supposed to be. The mouth says Vampire but the Rest of his body doesn't I mean come on since when where Vampires pink! I had 2 of these guys when I was little and I ended up giving the other to my Bro but then he got rid of it later on in his life. Thinking about it now this guy might be a Tiki......

Nah Maybe not! Whos next then Ah its the orange werewolf!

  As a Kid I grew up thinking that this guy was a Vampire with his Sharp fangs and crooked smile but Until later I found out that he was in fact a werewolf I think this guy might be my 2nd Fave.My first Fave of these Monsters has to be this Beast!......

Holy Crap! this came free with a box of Cereal. Now the reason this guys my favourite is because I dont what he is supposed to be even to this day. He might be a demon but he has a blue pulsating brain behind that red crest on his head so he could be an alien Im still not so sure. Next up is the Cobra-man!

Cobra man? sounds like a Name for a Turkish DJ. This guy used to be my Fave but Ive lost interest with him over time I think it might be the colours hes just all green and tiny bits of orange here and there kind of looks a bit bland to me. 

Next up is this uh this guy I think he could be a Lizard man. from what I remember my bro J had this one and kept it to him self until I bullied him to give it me ha ha nah not really. Ive kind of gone off this guy as well I think my bro can have him although Hes gone off monster now J is more of a Film Noir man.

Last but least is this handsome chap. obviously the Comedic monster this is Tree frog man! I call him that because of his large bulbous eyes and his blotchy lumps on the back of his head but then again what frog has claws! Out of all the monsters this has to be the most detailed one of the bunch.

So yeah thats the Monsters for you I thought they would be relevant for the Futures project you know for the Merchandising side actually thinking about it I might make some of these Pencil toppers with some of That plasticine Ive got laying about in my room! 

Philippe Cazaumayou

Heres another artist I aspire to for my research and that Is French Comic artist Philippe Cazaumayou or "Caza" to some people I like to call him Philippe caza heres a Pic of him back in 85 nice outfit!

Born in Paris in 1941 Caza started a Career in the Advertising which lasted 10 years later on Caza began to publish his work in magazine "Pilote". Asides from that hes done loads of other comic based work for other magazines and Has worked along side French animator Rene laloux on the Animated film "Gandahar" (also known as Light years in the US) here is a Poster for Gandahar

 and other animated Film which Ive never heard of called "the rain children" which he did back in 2003 with animator Philippe Leclerc. heres the poster for that if any ones Interested

  

Now down to Caza's works like most of the "Artist" I admire Caza's works is mostly made up of pics Aliens, Monster, Robots, ancient civilizations and the Odd scantly clad woman.

From what I remember I finished off my 3rd draft for me script kinda wished I didn't now turned out the script was 11 pages which my tutors didn't like. 


Tuesday the 4th of October 2011
Jud sent the class off to the Futures building which is where 3rd year students such as my self are sent to find jobs. Which I think was useful as Im still not really sure what I want to do when I finish Uni! After that I worked on my 5th draft Script which was better that the previous one but still 6 pages long. Jud then commanded me to time the script to see if its 3 minutes or not thats something I still need to do!

Worked on some episode ideas for the Futures project and fellow Animator Roxy whispered to me that id never see the Sun again :'( why would she say such a thing! meh she was probably joking! Futures project asides I also went to Starbucks with some friends to meet Melly! who previously went to the same University as me but Failed her course and is now working at M&S. Any who here is a picture of me and uh Melly in the Warehouse nightclub bleegh!

Christ look at my eyes I must have been really hyper that night! 

Friday the 7th of October 2011

Ok Didn't really do much today Mario told me to "elaborate" on the Futures episodes things. But Asides form that I went to Ormskirk with Dan and Matt to see some of there Friends and had a Couple of drinks aswell and had Cake :3 uh I also Met some new people such as one character called "Dean" Who introduced me to the phrase "Curling one out"........Id rather not get into what that Sentence means! I also met a Guy called Anthony who was Fun and could play the Keyboard and a Girl called Kate (who is deans girl friend I think I could be mistaken!) and I had a conversation with her about Melly and she suggested I should tell Melly how a feel about her and I was a bit intoxicated at the time This makes me think about Pen wards cartoon Bravest Warriors....

Reason being is that the Character in this cartoon "Chris" likes "Beth" but is afraid that it would make their friendship awkward thats how I feel about Melly :/

Me and Dan woke up the next day still in Ormskirk and Hopped on a train to return to Preston. It was good to see my Family again! I was also gonna Elaborate on the Episodes of my futures project but I only managed to do like uh 2 episodes I was felling abit sick today!.

Updated this Blog! Yay also today Im going to work on My futures project episodes and Draw some of the other monster that appear in the series. I leave you now with a Cartoon called "Enchanted Adventures" a Short epic cartoon about a young knight called "Galen" who sets out on quest to locate a Magical stone which can bring Inanimate objects to life... there's also a Shape shifting sword called Calibron and a Dragon who speaks like William Shatner nice! 

    

The Works of Simon Bisely

For some reason I decided to redesign my Characters for my Futures project. here they are.

I got the Idea after looking at Images of Simon Bisely's Art work but! Just who is Simon Bisley!? to find out were going to send him round the Track with are tamed race car driver. Some say oh wait thats Top Gear sorry I was getting carried away there

 Simon Bisley is a British Comic artists and is Best known for his 1990s works with 2000AD's "A.B.C Warriors","Slaine", DC comics "Lobo", "Doom Patrol" and some Marvel comic characters. asides from that his he also draws Monsters (Like me :3) His Works mostly Consist of Wacky characters, Buxom women, and Big burly blokes with Massive guns Kinda like Video games of today like Gears of War and that Space marines game thats recently come out!. Simon and his works have influenced the current media such as the "Beast" in the 2006 doctor who episode "The Satans Pit" LOOK BELLOW IF YOU DARE!

and Simon Pegg's character graphic artist Tim Bisley in channel 4's sitcom "Spaced".
